The Moweaqua Bicentennial Committee in six short months gathered information, newspaper articles, old pictures, historical facts, statistics, and personal interviews for their admirable up-to-date history of the village published July, 1976. Personal interviews were conducted at every household in the village and at farm homes surrounding the village. The book consists of 244 pages of text, plus 55 pages of sponsors' advertising.

The Decatur Genealogical Society is pleased to publish this everyname Index to the book. It will serve as an invaluable tool to everyone who owns a copy of MOWEAQUA REMEMBERS. This Index contains a total of 9,802 names.
